The Sherfick Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that exists to empower underserved youth, with a special focus on young people ages 16 to 24 who are currently in foster care or transitioning out of the foster care system.
Guided by our core values of Resilience, Redemption, and Restoration, we are committed to helping young adults overcome barriers, build confidence, and create a path toward a stable and successful future. We believe every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their circumstances or the challenges they have faced.
Through strategic partnerships, mentorship, and direct support, we work to provide access to safe housing, employment opportunities, life skills development, and trusted guidance from positive role models. For many youth aging out of foster care, the transition to adulthood can be overwhelming. Our goal is to ensure they do not have to navigate it alone.
In addition, we provide grants and scholarships that help remove financial barriers to growth and opportunity. These may include support for after-school programs, youth sports, tutoring, counseling services, educational travel expenses, trade school training and other programs that foster personal development and long-term success.
At the Sherfick Foundation, we believe that with the right support system, every young person has the ability to rise above their circumstances, discover their potential, and build a future filled with purpose, independence, and hope.
We envision a future where lives are not defined by hardship, but transformed through opportunity. Where resilience is strengthened, redemption is possible and restoration becomes reality for all.
